Gifts go to the Arlington Community Foundation for the benefit of the Joel Byrne Let Goodness Shine Fund. They are added to a permanent endowment, and grants are made from what those gifts earn. Nothing goes to salaries.

Grants go to small local organizations in three categories: the ones that shaped Joel and those that carry his light, the ones working on the SUDC cause, and the ones flying below the radar — doing direct, hands-on good on a shoestring.

Gifts are made to ACF for the benefit of the Joel Byrne Let Goodness Shine Fund. ACF issues your tax receipt and holds legal control over contributed assets. Contributions are deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. We pay no salaries.
